What a lovely day in the garden!
On Wednesday we held our Community Garden Activity Day here at GEGAC.
We got to see Boorai and their family members set handprints in paving stones and planting their own seeds in a cup that they got to take home, along with some healthy treats.
The paving stones are going to be set in the ground around the community garden, for generations to come to see and remember.
We hope as the garden continues to grow that we will get to host more events like this in the future.
A big thank you to the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, Bunnings and VACCHO for coming along and supporting us!
There’s lots of good things happening around GEGAC, and we want community to be involved.
