The Krowathunkooloong Keeping Place is not a museum, but a place to understand and appreciate the living, vibrant and continuing culture of the Gunaikurnai people, the original custodians of East Gippsland.

The Keeping Place is located on the grounds of Gippsland and East Gippsland Aboriginal Cooperative (GEGAC), 37-53 Dalmahoy St., Bairnsdale.

Guided tours of the Keeping Place are available.
